Today is day 2 of the NYC 140 conference.  It’s been an exciting experience being in NYC, meeting and conversing with some of the biggest and brightest minds in my industry.

I’ve heard interesting stories from speakers and had dynamic discussions on Twitter during the conference.

I’ve met people who I only recognize by their Twitter avatar.

I saw a group of 7th graders talk about social media and speak about it as if they were in their early thirties.  They did use the term “olden days,” which was weird for me at 31 years old.

One thing is clear, online social interactions are no match or substitution for in-person connections.

I feel very fortunate to be here.
