I think, far too often, we bundle ideas together and then make it inseparable.
We do good ideas a disservice when we do this.
Good ideas are not dependent upon other ideas. We can extrapolate individual components of a theory or philosophy without taking the entire idea wholesale. This is the difference between critical thinking and dogma.

- Nearly every religion is a mix of great ideas (love thy neighbor) and terrible ideas (slavery)
- No single business strategy will always work
It’s rare to encounter a perfect idea, a theory without flaws, or a framework that cannot be improved upon. Likewise, it is rare to find a truly and objectively terrible idea that doesn’t, at minimum, allude to a problem worth solving.
To use an expression: it is important to avoid throwing the baby out with the bath water.
