A Day in the Life

Attach yourself to your career, not your job

ByJeff Gibbard February 21, 2014May 17, 2024 Reading Time: 1 minute

A career takes place over a lifetime and may include a number of different industries, titles, and job functions.

A job is something you are doing right now.

There’s nothing wrong with having a job, it’s actually necessary to live in our society.

Just make sure you always look at jobs in the context of your career.

Always remember that you are going somewhere bigger than you are today.

Jobs may come and go, but your career is what’s left after all the jobs are done.
