When I started in social media, no one really knew much of anything. Conventional wisdom wasn’t yet conventional. I used to say things that newbies say now.
It took time.
When I first started managing my tasks in Asana, I didn’t much know what I was doing. Now I know shortcut keys and use tags like a boss.
It took time.
Maybe it’s our short attention span or maybe it’s our desire to be great at something, but we often underestimate the time it will take to do something well.
Wherever you are in learning a skill…cut yourself some slack. Maybe it’ll just take more time.
