Senior Business Analyst/Developer will join our team designing, building and supporting Citco’s GATOR Partnership Allocation model. The role will also involve participation in a wider variety of Business Solutions projects, including data modelling and Aexeo process & data analysis.
Candidates should be completely fluent in technology concepts and practices, able to deliver workable approaches to even the toughest business or data challenges. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner around unfamiliar material, demonstrating creative, puzzle-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. Should also be well-suited to working with small, informal teams in an unstructured, self-managing environment.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience with data modeling, SQL design & development, or Excel modeling
- Tech languages or ‘system tools’ a huge plus (eg. Perl, Tcl scripting, Java, VBA)
- Degree (or equivalent strength & experience) in an analytical/numerate field such as Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, Computer Sciences
- Proven abilities to understand & tackle complex, technical/logic problem-solving
- Basic understanding of exotic financial instruments and trade life cycle
- “Get the job done” mindset and innovative approaches to problems
- Polished communication and presentation skills
