I think we make too much out of the idea of business.
We believe it is something more profound than what it really is.
It’s just people doing stuff with other people.
Some of it is important: food, clothing, shelter, and the other necessities that sustain life.
Some of it is totally made up: dry cleaning, taxes, social media marketing, and other things that don’t really have anything to do with our survival as animals on this planet.
All of it is made up, and the only part of it that is truly real is the interactions between people.
It’s basically just egos bashing into one another and consequently, the same rules apply in business as in the social dynamics of our personal lives.
Because everything is our personal lives…even the distinction of business and pleasure is a fabricated idea.
It’s just people doing stuff with other people.
