Being an entrepreneur can be very lonely sometimes. Not just that a lot of the work is done by myself, but more importantly, that people don’t truly understand the mindset of what I do.
I’ll never understand it when someone suggests that I “just get a job.” It’s almost as ridiculous as someone telling me to “just be taller.”
I’ve always thought of a job as something you feel obligated to do. My work is something I feel privileged to do. So why would I “get a job” when I could embrace my passion?
I guess that’s why I show so much enthusiasm when I talk about what I do, and why I never seemed to care at all before this company. Everything before was a job…this is my calling.
