One of my greatest challenges is maintaining focus. When I sit down to write a strategy, I’m locked in. When I sit down to meet a new prospect, I’m locked in. However, I tend to lose my focus the minute that event is over because of all of the other projects and responsibilities. In order to manage this, I’ve setup systems to capture my focus at a given time.
For anything to get done properly, the right amount of focus must be available, and when it’s not, it’s a sign that things need to slow down or you need to leverage yourself.
