Ideas are not property. You cannot steal an idea. It’s ethereal.
Someone has thought this before.
Someone may have said this before.
Someone may have written this before.
Someone may have even recorded this before.
Yet there are people and companies out there that make their living off of the premise that an idea is property. That simply by thinking something, or writing it down, that you, and you alone, can lay claim to it.
This is fundamentally flawed. It is a premise that has outlived its usefulness.
