There’s something magical about getting things in order.
Over the last week, I put a multitude of things in order.
I cleaned up the task list for my agency, designed a new weekly reporting structure, and, this weekend, cleaned my kitchen and reorganized the table of contents for my book.
I find that my mind has difficulty working at peak efficiency in the midst of clutter. When I find myself spinning, I find it helpful to sit down and make a mind map to clear out all of the thoughts in my head.
Once I’ve cleared my head, I begin to organize and prioritize my tasks and thoughts.
Once there is order, I not only have a system for a more successful week, but I also feel better.
So, my advice to you, if you feel overwhelmed, is to focus first on getting things in order. It’s always my first step.
