It starts out as a small list.
Then the list gets longer. So now you need to divide that list up into projects to make it more manageable.
Soon there are more tasks, so there are more lists, so there are more projects. At some point you find yourself with a giant list of lists and more piles of tasks than you know how to sift through.
It feels overwhelming.
I suppose the thing to keep in mind is that the piles didn’t start out this big but grew task by task. So that’s how to deal with it, task by task.
So I think today I’ll cross a few things off my list and we’ll see how the piles look tomorrow.
