When I was in high school, I fell in love with a song by the group Tonic.
This song was a mega hit. I listened to it constantly. I even liked the rest of the album. But I couldn’t for the life of me tell you another song on the album.
Recently Hozier released Take me to Church
They will likely never overcome its runaway success.
Sometimes big success is a bad thing.
It’s not that we don’t want the big wins, it’s just that it may be better to have a series of smaller wins, with some bigger wins peppered in there, rather than putting all the time and effort into one big win that is unlikely to be topped.
This is why I’ve shifted our focus to consistency. Singles instead of home runs.
