A little while ago I wrote about how unacceptable it is that the cobbler’s have no shoes…well lately I’ve been investing in some shoes.

Sometime in March I brought on my first “employee,” Jon.  Jon is not (yet) a full time employee but adding him to the True Voice Media team has made all the difference in the world.  Leverage is concept that I understood in principle but not in practice.  Jon has allowed me to accomplish more tasks, service more clients and achieve a higher quality of deliverable.  All of this has led me to tighten up my own branding, both for myself and my company.

While the journey is far from complete–and it never will be–I find that recent changes in how I do business are leading me down the right path.  I can sense the prospect of HUGE growth.  I have had time to step back and treat myself like a client adequately strategizing and understanding where I’m going rather than flying by the seat of my pants, putting out the closest fire.

For now the cobblers children are getting their shoes…in time, I’ll be able to get them a brand new pair of Puma sneakers!
