I’m obsessive about my task list. I use Asana.

I’ve had too many thoughts over the years that are now gone, never to return. I’m sure at least 1 or 2 of those thoughts were brilliant, or at the very least, interesting.

I give advice all of the time, it’s part of my job. Sometimes after 30 minutes of answering questions, I realize that something I said was really relevant, and would be valuable to others.

“Now, if I could only remember what I said.”

It’s amazing to think how many of our thoughts and our experiences cease to exist mere moments after they’re over. At the same time, it’s equally interesting to think about how many photos and notes are stored, never to be looked at.

It’s hard to know what to keep and what to let float away. And even when we do save those thoughts, we must consider what to do with it, or else it is no better than the thoughts that simply get lost in the ether.
