It’s funny that I’m even writing this post because it’s going to seem so obvious but, when you find someone who is enthusiastic about something…HARNESS THAT ENERGY! Encourage it, don’t fight it, don’t squash it, don’t dismiss it.
One thing I distinctly remember from my career before starting my company was having great big ideas and being told by my “superior” to focus on something else.
It’s so damn obvious but for the sake of all things in business, when you find someone who has an energy about something, figure out how to make the best of that energy. Get out of the way, and let them run.
