You’re not charging people for the work you do, you’re charging them for the expertise you’ve spent years accumulating.
I didn’t start out knowing what I know about my industry, I spent years building it. I’ve earned the rates I charge, and I’ll earn the rates I charge in the future.
If you’re starting out and you’re expecting to charge what the “big boys” charge, just remember that they aren’t just charging for the work they’re doing…they’re charging for the work they’ve done.
