Seriously, what is the point of having a blog, or any corner of the web and making yourself unavailable?
As an individual now in PR, I can't understand why any blogger, from the major news outlets to the tiniest of blogs would not make it as easy as possible to contact.
What's the worst thing that could happen? A little spam? Guess what, you're already getting it. What are you missing out on? Well maybe I just happen to have the best story you've ever read and you could be the one to break it. Imagine if the guy who found the iPhone 4G couldn't contact someone at Gawker…there is really no reason not to be found if you are someone who creates content.
To all bloggers out there, get over your fears, and just post your email address!
