People come and go from our lives.
If you think about it hard enough, you’ll realize that 90% (or more) of people you’ve met in your life are no longer a significant part of your daily routine.
But even as people go from your life, they can still hold a special place in your heart and mind.
There were teachers that changed you forever, relatives that passed away, and friends with whom life-altering experiences never would’ve happened.
There were adversaries that you overcame, obnoxious individuals that regularly bothered you, and bullies that may have given you a complex.
All of these people taught you so many lessons.
Sometimes people fade away without any real significance. Sometimes they are there forever, no matter whether you see them, speak to them, or hear their voice ever again.
Never discount the value someone has had in your life, whether they were strangers, friends, family, or even enemies. We are collections of experiences and so many of those experiences involve people we may never see again. Let that sink in.
The truly important ones will stick around or resurface.
The rest might just be a lesson to take with you.
