I just woke up and realized that it is 2009 and I should need to get lost anymore. I also realized that I am a man, and as the old comic routines go, I will NEVER stop to ask for directions. My only remaining option was to get a GPS. So I bought the Navigon iPhone app.
Here are the reasons I chose it.
First of all, having a GPS in my phone vs buying a GPS unit made sense both financially and logistically. $89.99 2 devices.
At the time that I bought it, it had over 1,400 reviews in the iTunes store with an average of 4 stars out of 5. At the same time TomTom had 140 reviews with an average of 2 stars.
The Navigon GPS integrates with my address book.
I used it for the first time today and love it.
