Social media engagement

How DO you measure social media engagement?

Sometimes, measuring your exact reach can feel like trying to count the grains of sand on a beach or stars in the sky.

Where do you start? How do you know. How will I know, if he really loves me?

Sorry, get out of here Whitney.

Enter Jeff. Jeff says there are two ways to measure social media engagement: quantitative and qualitative.

1. Quantitative – take the total number of posts created and then look at the number of posts that people liked, commented on, and shared. Divide those numbers: number of posts engaged with by total number of posts and multiply by 100 to get the percentage of your engagement rate.

2. Qualitative – here, there’s less math, pheeew, your looking at what you learned and whether or not you can use that to improve your product or service.

There ya go. Go forth and measure your social media engagement. That’s how you’ll know that what you feel is really love.
