Why?
Better question: why not?
There are two options: educate people, or speak above their head.
- If I speak above the heads of my clients, I may trick them into believing they are incapable of doing this without me.
- If I educate them, help them understand the logic, process, and reasoning, they can see the value of what I do. And eventually, they can do it without me.
I have no goal that has been thought, written, or expressed, that relates to appearing more intelligent than anyone else, or making anyone else feel inadequate.
I do however have one of my goals in life to empower people, and help them become more than they ever could on their own.
Therefore, I teach.
