Some advice sounds too simple and straightforward to be profound or effective.
If the answer was that easy, everyone would figure it out, right?
But maybe that’s what is so profound and meaningful about simplicity; that the answers to some of these big questions are, really, not that hard.
If the problem is that your room is messy, clean your room. If your room keeps getting messy, seek to identify the root cause.
Most problems can be traced back to the origin, broken up into smaller pieces, and resolved.
But knowing what to do is not nearly as hard as doing it. The problem isn’t in the advice but in the execution.
Never discount the simple solution because it is simple and obvious. Just because it’s obvious, doesn’t mean it’s not the right advice or that it won’t take hard work.
