It’s not just the one generous thing you’ve ever done that you boast about for years.
It’s who you are day in and day out.
You ALWAYS have the option to be better, to be more generous, to be more kind, to be more empathetic.
You can also ALWAYS choose to be rude, to be short-tempered, to take advantage of people, to win at all costs.
It’s obviously your choice, but don’t think you can pick and choose what defines who you really are. That story never stops being told, even after you’re gone.
